This is a permanent, full-time, on-site role dedicated to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across the client's premises. You will play a vital frontline part in ensuring facilities remain safe, sanitised, and well-kept for all occupants and visitors. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and thorough cleaning tasks across designated areas, including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and surface sanitisation.
• Operate specialised cleaning machinery safely and efficiently, such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and industrial vacuum cleaners.
• Handle, dilute, and store cleaning chemicals in strict adherence to health and safety standards and COSHH guidelines.
• Ensure all personal protective equipment (PPE) is worn correctly and appropriate safety signage is displayed during cleaning tasks.
• Manage daily waste disposal, ensuring rubbish is safely removed, sorted, and placed in designated collection points.
• Monitor cleaning supplies, reporting any equipment faults, safety hazards, or replenishment needs promptly.

Required Skills & Experience

• Demonstrable experience in commercial, domestic, or office cleaning environments.
• Practical knowledge and capability in operating standard cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
• Solid understanding of COSHH compliance, safe chemical handling, and chemical dilution practices.
• Confident familiarity with health and safety procedures, PPE usage, and correct waste disposal methods.
• Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively on an on-site basis in Manchester.

Nice-to-have

• Prior experience with deep cleaning routines, carpet cleaners, or steam cleaning equipment.
• Familiarity with specialised washroom hygiene protocols, kitchen deep cleaning, and infection control sanitisation standards.
